Iowa Hawkeye Wide Receiver, Reece Vander Zee, recently spent a day with his family refurbishing wheelchairs at the Hope Haven International Ministries (HHIM) workshop in Rock Valley.
Giving Tuesday is on December 3, 2024. This is a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 10 years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires people to give and celebrate generously.
Hope Haven International Ministries is conducting a regional Wheelchair Collection Drive in partnership with Karl’s TV Audio Appliances and Furniture on November 1 – December 31, 2025.
The Heerde Family of Spirit Lake recently provided Hope Haven with a farm estate gift of approximately $2.5 million. The ministry held a ceremony Thursday, April 11, to recognize the family’s sizable contribution.
Hope Haven is launching a new project in 2024 to help individuals manage their stress levels using a smartwatch app, a mobile app, and a dashboard. This particular smartwatch, also called a wearable, measures the individual’s stress levels.
Through his Pioneer dealership, Lonneman can earn matching funds up to $3,000 based on his annual sales totals as part of the company’s Pacesetters program. This resulted in a donation totaling $5,512.
