Now entering its fifth year, Branson Cares has helped provide more than 570 pediatric wheelchairs through the generosity of

Branson audiences, performers, theater owners, producers, and supporters.

Through Red Bucket Week and an ongoing partnership with Hope Haven International Ministries, the Branson entertainment

community is helping children with disabilities experience greater mobility, independence, and participation

in everyday life.

On wheelchair distribution trips, physical therapists and other specialists accompany our team to customize each wheelchair to the individual specifications of the end user.

Family Training & Support

Families receive comprehensive training and guidance on proper usage and care, empowering them to support their loved ones effectively.

A special collaboration in America's entertainment capital

The Heart of Branson Cares

Branson area theater owners, producers, and performers all collaborate under the banner of

"Branson Cares" to help raise awareness and funding for the global need to provide pediatric

wheelchairs for severely disabled young children.

Mission Trip Experiences

The performers also accompany Hope Haven on mission trips where they have heartwarming, face-to-face

experiences with children they've never met. They participate in the assembling and fitting process with

physical therapists at their side to ensure every child is perfectly fitted in their gifted new Branson Cares

pediatric wheelchair.

Branson Cares Initiative

Branson Cares brings together theater owners, producers, performers, technicians, staff members, and

audiences around one shared purpose: helping provide pediatric wheelchairs to children who might otherwise

have no access to appropriate mobility equipment.

Funds raised through Branson Cares support the production of Hope Haven pediatric wheelchairs designed

for children with significant mobility needs. Through donated materials, volunteer labor, and the support of

generous partners, each wheelchair can be produced for approximately $300. The partnership extends beyond

fundraising. Each year, Branson performers have the opportunity to join a wheelchair distribution trip to La Paz,

Mexico, hosted in partnership with Mobilize Mankind.

During these distributions, each wheelchair is carefully adjusted and individually fitted to meet the child’s needs.

Professional therapists may spend up to two hours completing a single fitting to help ensure the child is safe,

supported, and comfortable.

For a child who has previously relied on being carried or has been unable to participate fully, a properly fitted

wheelchair can create new opportunities to attend school and church, join family activities, and engage more

fully in the community.

Branson's Music and Theatre Industry Organization, BAAMT, has been chosen to partner with Hope Haven

International Ministries to spearhead this citywide effort.
