DESSERT AUCTION

Join Hope Haven for an unforgettable evening of generosity, fellowship, and, of course, incredible desserts. Guests will enjoy a social hour, dinner, a live dessert auction, and additional auction items at Minnehaha Country Club, all while supporting Hope Haven International Ministries and our mission to provide mobility, dignity, and hope to individuals around the world.

Invite your friends, family, or colleagues to host a table of eight and bid together on your favorite sweet treat, generously donated by local bakeries, restaurants, and community supporters. Throughout the evening, each table will have the opportunity to give toward life-changing mobility through Hope Haven International Ministries.

Join Hope Haven for an unforgettable evening of generosity, fellowship, and, of course, incredible desserts. Guests will enjoy a social hour, dinner, a live dessert auction, and additional auction items at Minnehaha Country Club, all while supporting Hope Haven International Ministries and our mission to provide mobility, dignity, and hope to individuals around the world.

Gather your friends, family, coworkers, or fellow church members and host a table of eight for an evening of fellowship, inspiration, and generosity. During the live dessert auction, each table combines its donations to bid on desserts donated by local bakeries, restaurants, and community supporters, and the winning table enjoys their treat together that night.

If you would like to attend but do not wish to host a full table, you are welcome to attend as a guest. We will gladly seat you with other guests and supporters to complete a table of eight.

While there is no cost to attend, we encourage each table to contribute a minimum of $250 in support of Hope Haven International Ministries' mission. Most tables contribute between $250 and $1,000 or more. In fact, one dessert sold for an incredible $4,000 last year!

We raised $55,500+ last year to support life-changing mobility efforts around the world. This year, we're hoping to do even more through our partnership with Mission Haiti.

This Year's Mission Partner: Mission Haiti

This year's Dessert Auction will support Hope Haven International Ministries' partnership with Mission Haiti. Mission Haiti was formed in 2006, originally with an orphanage, though mission trips to Haiti began as early as 1995. Today, Mission Haiti operates nine schools serving more than 3,000 students, a home for the elderly, a modern medical clinic, a block-making plant, and several programs focused on sharing the Gospel.

Hope Haven International Ministries is honored to partner with Mission Haiti. Paul and Bethany Perissien, Executive Director of Mission Haiti and Medical Administrative Director for the Lanmou San Fin Clinic, have led Mission Haiti since 2015. After living in Haiti from 2014 to 2021, they are now based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Seeing the immense need for mobility in Haiti, Mission Haiti and HHIM completed their first wheelchair provision trip together in March 2026, with a second, larger wheelchair provision planned for January 2027.

Together, Mission Haiti and HHIM are working to meet physical needs while helping share the love of Jesus. The need in Haiti is immense, and your support helps bring mobility, dignity, and hope to individuals and families who need it most.

Table Hosts & Sponsorships

We are currently looking for table hosts, event sponsors, and in-kind dessert sponsors. Table hosts are invited to fill a table of eight, and dessert sponsors may donate a dessert to be featured during the live auction. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and individuals who want to help make the evening possible.
