Meet Andy Alexander. He recently received a new KidChair wheelchair from Hope Haven Guatemala. A lack of oxygen supply to his brain at birth resulted in a cerebral palsy diagnosis. Since then his mother has been his strongest advocate.

Due to financial difficulties Andy’s family has struggled to secure a wheelchair or therapy for him. However they recently discovered Hope Haven Guatemala and Andy was able to receive a new wheelchair custom fitted to his body and specific needs.

A specialized wheelchair may help Andy with some issues he was experiencing prior to receiving his new wheelchair like difficulty breathing and body development.

“We bless Hope Haven and everyone who makes the donation of the wheelchair possible ” says Andy’s mother Aura Marina.
