Belky is 4 years old and was born with microcephaly psychomotor retardation and dysphoric syndrome. Due to negligence in the home the state of Guatemala placed Belky in home for children with disabilities. In her new home she receives therapies and more comprehensive care for her specific needs. Unfortunately she has recently stopped eating normally and a gastric bottling was placed in her stomach in order to provide her with necessary nutrients and food. However Belky’s future with a wheelchair is a positive one. This year she will begin her education at home with schooling provided by specialized teachers for children with disabilities.
