Mark Siemonsma

Mark joined the Hope Have Foundation Staff in October 2004. He has a BA in Journalism from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA, and has completed courses in management from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Mark has completed his certification in professional development at the Lily School of Fund Raising through Indiana University in 2015. Mark has 30 years of experience in wholesale sales and retail management in the automotive industry. Mark’s current duties include overseeing special events, donor relations, and planned giving.

Mark has served as council president at Calvin Christian Reformed Church in Le Mars, IA, president of the Rock Valley, IA Kiwanis Club, and Auto Value National Advisory Board. He is currently serving on the Iowa Leave a Legacy Board of Directors, and is active in Rotary in Sioux Falls, SD. 

Mark grew up in Sheldon, IA, and is married to Sue. Sue teaches elementary art, and they have two children and four grandchildren. Mark and Sue are currently members of Trinity Reformed Christian Church of Rock Valley. Mark and Sue live in Rock Valley and enjoy living and serving in their community. Mark loves to fish, faithfully supports the University of Iowa athletic programs and enjoys working their horses with his wife. Joining the staff at Hope Haven fulfills a lifelong ambition to work for and serve the Lord with a Christian organization.
