The MDRT Foundation has awarded a $2 500 grant to Hope Haven International Ministries to deliver wheelchairs to those in need of mobility in Guatemala.
Through its global grants programs the MDRT Foundation is committed to building stronger families and communities around the globe. This year the MDRT Foundation will award over $1.5 million in MDRT member-endorsed grants to more than 250 charitable organizations worldwide.
Representing the MDRT Foundation Char Granstra ChFC CLU of Rock Valley IA presented the grant to Hope Haven International Ministries on Friday June 26th at the Hope Haven Annual Benefit Auction.
This MDRT Foundation grant will support the manufacturing and distribution of KidChair wheelchairs which are high-tech pediatric wheelchairs for children who are the “poorest of the poor” living in impoverished communities throughout Central America.
With this $2 500 grant from the MDRT Foundation Hope Haven International has received a total of $102 500 from the MDRT since 2002.
