Hope Haven recently received a $3,350 grant from the AES Foundation’s “Round It Up” charity. This year, Arby’s in Storm Lake, IA, nominated Hope Haven as their local charity to support and as of today Arby’s donated up to $4,870. Customers were asked to donate $1 or to round up their change to the next dollar amount. “This charity opportunity is a great way for us to make a big impact on those we serve in our community,” said Nohemi Zavala, Arby’s General Manager.
The funds will help enhance the lives of children Hope Haven serves at Faith, Hope & Charity division in Storm Lake, IA. Faith, Hope & Charity is licensed as an Intermediate Care Facility for the Intellectually Disabled (ICF/ID) home for children ages 2-21. ICF/ID is a 24 hour a day, total care service, providing housing, meals, activities, nursing, recreation, skill building, community interaction, and many other services needed by the children served.
We are thankful to the AES Foundation and Arby’s for their generous support!
