What is Resource Management?
This service is designed to help people who have long-term mental health issues.
The goal of this service is to develop a plan with the individual to best meet the person's dreams, desires and aspirations. The resource manager acts as Hope Haven's link between the consumer and other internal or external providers. Contacts are usually done weekly on a one to one basis.
Who are the Staff that are working with you?
Staff who provide resource management services are:
- Experienced in working with persons who have a chronic psychiatric disability.
- Have a minimum of a 4-year degree.
- Trained in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Model.
- Supervised and managed by a Qualified Mental Health Professional with a Master's Degree in a Human Service field and extensive experience.
Are you eligible to receive services?
You are eligible to receive services if you are:
- a person over the age of 18, and;
- are diagnosed with a chronic psychiatric disability such as depression, schizophrenia, a personality disorder, etc.
Where are these services located?
Presently, we serve individuals in:
- Rock Valley;
- Orange City;
- Sioux Center;
- Hawarden, and
- Rock Rapids
- Other Communities as arranged.
Who pays for these services?
Typically, your county, or Medicaid (Title XIX) provides funding support. People can pay for this service themselves also.
