Psychiatric Consultation is provided on-site for persons with chronic mental illness.  Efforts are made to prevent in-patient hospitalization whenever possible.  Services include:

• Psychiatric evaluation;


• Evaluation, implementation, and adjustment of psychotropic medications;


• Consultation and education regarding medication utilization;


• Consultation with Hope Haven staff;


• Recommendations regarding individual treatment plans;


• Referrals for in-patient and/or specialist services;


• Psychiatric consultation available 24 hours a day.
