Hope Haven provides a variety of levels of residential supports and services to enable people to participate in the community with the highest possible degree of personal autonomy.

Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded
These services are available to individuals with a mental retardation diagnosis and have significant limitations in at least 3 of the 7 essential life skills areas. Service is provided 24-hours a day and provides intensive direct support of each person. Services are individualized to best allow the person served to grow. |

 Residential Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded
These services are on a 24-hour basis in a group setting. A wide range of support services are provided which may include hands-on support and skills training in daily living tasks such as hygiene, basic housekeeping, money management, medication administration, accessing any necessary health care, and/or emotional/social support such as developing interpersonal relationships and integrating into the community. This service is provided at the Residential Training Center in Orange City, Northside Court in Hull and Redwood Court in Rock Valley.

Residential Care Facility
Our RCF service provides 24-hour support in basic living skills and accessing community services. RCF service is currently being provided at the Residential Training Center (RTC) in Orange City, IA. |

Home and Community Based Services-Supported Community Living
This service is available to people who have a diagnosis of mental retardation and meet the required income guidelines. Service is based on individual needs and can be provided in a variety of settings including the person's parental home, their own home or apartment, or a home or apartment that they share with up to two other individuals who also receive the service.
Services provided range from "drop in" support to 24-hour support in a variety of living skills areas such as housekeeping, cooking, money management, accessing health services, medication management, interpersonal relationships, transportation, integration into the community and utilizing community resources. These services are provided in a variety of settings and communities throughout northwest Iowa. |

Minnesota Services
We also provide supervised living services, respite care and in-home support in Minnesota. These services are available to individuals with a diagnosis of mental retardation or a related condition. The service provided is based on the support needs of each individual and includes support in all living areas. Services are currently being provided in homes in Pipestone and Edgerton, MN. |
