HOPE HAVEN HISTORY

Hope Haven first opened its doors in 1964 with two teachers, an aide and eleven children, in a classroom located at the Rock Valley Christian School.  The idea of Hope Haven, however, began in 1959 as the dream of four men.  These men had a dream to provide a "Christian Horizon of Hope" for persons with handicaps and their families.
